Hello, my name is Nancy, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #23023) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here and that you’ve taken the time to learn more about Anchored in Hope Therapy.
First, I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to begin the healing journey. From my own experience, I know how overwhelming and vulnerable this step can feel. Thank you for being here and for even considering inviting me into this process with you, it is a responsibility I hold with great care and respect.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and have been working in the helping profession for over 20 years. My undergraduate background is in Child and Youth Care Counselling, and my experience includes pastoring, crisis counselling for children and young adults, and providing therapy in a Christian residential counselling home for women. It is truly an honor and a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they move toward healing and growth.
As a survivor of complex trauma who has also spent time on the client side of therapy, I deeply understand what it is like to seek support and healing. My hope is that, together, we can gently explore your experiences, work through the impact of trauma, and move toward the healing, freedom, and wholeness you desire.
For those seeking biblical or faith-based Christian counselling, I also offer the option to integrate faith into our work together.
